Missed out of the World Cup's victorious Indian squad at the last minute due to his sudden elbow injury, right-arm medium swing bowler, Praveen Kumar is a fit player and raring to go in the future Indian Premier League championship from the Kings XI Punjab team. Successfully won during this year's IPL auction at Bangalore by the co-partner of the franchisee and Bollywood diva, Preity Zinta at the cost of $800,000 (INR 36, 800,000), Kumar has been roped in the team to replace Australian speedster, Brett Lee.
