Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders
Friday’s IPL match between hosts Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the SMS Stadium is likely to be a hit. Hit, not because that this match may witness a crowded stadium but it would see a competition between big-hitters Shane Watson of Royals and Yusuf Pathan of KKR. Giving a big boost to the home team that is already discharge with confidence after their successive wins over Deccan Chargers and Delhi Daredevils, Watson has joined the Royals. Like his IPL team, Watson is also on a high after his quick fire knocks in the recently-concluded Australia-Bangladesh ODI series.
The Royals’ fans would be hoping the Australian to continue his splendid form with the willow. His blustery innings of 185 runs in the second ODI against Bangladesh, which included a world record 15 sixes, has already given high hopes to the Royals. Besides Watson, all eyes would also be on Yusuf Pathan. It would also be attractive to watch how the Baroda basher, who had played for Royals in the first three IPL editions, performs against his former team. Pathan was bought by KKR at this year’s auctions.
