Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka moves to Colombo for Saturday’s 4th ODI with the five-match series in the balance. The tourists should decide whether to retain the same XI that’s contested all three one-dayers so far. Sri Lanka has dropped batsman Dinesh Chandimal, all-rounder Thisara Perera and left-arm spinner Rangana Herath for the final two one-dayers. Leg spinner Seekkuge Prasanna, has been called up.

Sri Lankan vice-captain Angelo Mathews, who missed Tuesday’s match because of injury, is expected to be available. The forecast is for spotted thunderstorms in Colombo on Saturday. The hosts kept alive their prediction of a series victory with a comprehensive 78-run win in Tuesday’s third one-dayer in Hambantota.

Australian pacemen Mitchell Johnson and Doug Bollinger have been the standout bowlers in the series so far with 10 and eight wickets respectively, though Lasith Malinga was a match-winner for the hosts with 5-28 on Tuesday. Ricky Ponting is the leading batsman with 165 runs at 82.5, edging Upul Tharanga whose 158 runs at 52.66 includes a sublime 111 on Tuesday.

Australian captain Michael Clark is around there with 157 from three innings, two of them unbeaten. Clark blamed the top order for Australia’s disappointment to chase down Sri Lanka’s 287 on Tuesday.
