India will clash with struggling West Indies in the one-off Twenty20 match at the Queen's Park Oval on Saturday. The Indian team is without senior players such as MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir and will be led by Suresh Raina.
India:
The Indian bowling posses the best spinners in Harbhajan Singh, R Ashwin and Amit Mishra, who will use the slow nature of the wicket to their benefit. In the absence of regular openers, Parthiv Patel and Shikhar Dhawan will open the innings.
With Raina, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Subramaniam Badrinath and Yusuf Pathan to follow, India's batting order looks quite frightening when compared to the current form of the West Indian bowlers.
West Indies:
West Indies, doesn't have big names and except Lendl Simmons and Darren Bravo to some level, no other player has shined with the bat. Bowling is also a worry for the home side as Ravi Rampaul and Devendra Bishoo are the only two bowlers to have picked wickets in the series against Pakistan.''
Another concern for West Indies is a lower back injury to skipper Darren Sammy, who is a doubtful contender for Saturday's game. However, Gibson said that his team will give their best to win the match."
