The Auckland Aces have made an attractive start to their Champions League Twenty20 battle with a seven wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders. Pakistan introduces Azhar Mahmood once again guide the way for the Aces, taking 3-16 with the ball before top scoring with 51.
Auckland controlled Kolkata to 137 for six with Black Caps vice captain Brendon McCullum top scoring for the Indian Premier League side with 40 from 35 balls. Mahmood dismissed McCullum before also taking the wickets of South African Jacques Kallis and Manoj Tiwary, both for ducks, in a two wicket maiden.
