Match 1: Bangladesh vs India

India recorded the fifth highest total in the World Cup their third highest, next only to the 413 for five against Bermuda at Port of Spain on March 19, 2007 and 373 for six against Sri Lanka at Taunton on May 26, 1999.

Sehwag (175) posted his career-best, surpassing the 146 off 102 balls against Sri Lanka at Rajkot on December 15, 2009.

Sehwag is the first Indian player to post a century against Bangladesh in the World Cup.

Bangladesh's total of 283 for nine is their highest in the World Cup, eclipsing the 251 for eight against South Africa at Providence on April 7, 2007.

Sehwag and Tendulkar became the first Indian opening pair to amass 500 runs in the World Cup, aggregating 567 in 10 innings at an average of 56.70, including one century stand and five fifty-plus.

India registered their highest total against Bangladesh in the World Cup. Their total is the best by any team against Bangladesh in the World Cup, bettering Sri Lanka's 318 for four at Port of Spain on March 21, 2007.

Gambhir and Sehwag added 83 India's highest for the second wicket against Bangladesh at the World Cup.



Match 12: Canada vs Zimbabwe

Canada (123) have posted their fifth lowest total in the world cup - their top four lowest scores being 36 against Sri Lanka in 2003, 45 against England in 1979, 105 against Australia in 1979 and 122 against Sri Lanka in 2011.

Canada's loss by 175 runs is their second lowest in the world cup, next only to the 210-run loss to Sri Lanka at Hambantota on February 20, 2011.

Ray Price (3/16) has recorded his best bowling figures at the world cup. He is the fourth bowler from Zimbabwe to bowl four maiden overs in an innings in the world cup, joining Peter Rawson, Eddo Brandes and John Traicos

Zimbabwe's 175-run win is their largest victory margin by runs in the world cup, beating the 99 against Netherlands at Bulawayo on February 28, 2003.



Match 13: West Indies vs Netherlands

Chris Gayle's magnificent 80 off 110 balls is the third highest knock in the world cup at Feroz Shah Kotla - the top two scores are 137 by Sachin Tendulkar against Sri Lanka on March 2, 1996 and an unbeaten 107 by Abraham de Villiers against West Indies on February 24, 2011.

Gayle (7999 at an average of 39.01 in 225 matches) requires just one run to complete his 8,000 runs in ODIs.

Kieron Pollard (60 off 27 balls) has posted his maiden world cup fifty. His only other fifty in ODIs is 62 against Australia at Brisbane on February 14, 2010.

Roach (6 for 27) is the second West Indian bowler to take six or more wickets in an innings in the World Cup. Winston Davis hd captured 7 for 51 against Australia at Leeds on June 11, 1983.
