Faf du Plessis is the new captain of South Africa in T20 internationals against New Zealand in December. AB de Villiers, South Africa's normal ODI captain, is part of the squad but won't skipper because his workload will be handle over the summer. The T20 squad has new players, including a new wicketkeeper to ease de Villiers of his load. Quinton de Kock, was part of South Africa's most current under-19 World Cup squad, will get into the gloves.
